The Deep Feed publishes long-form research on artificial intelligence — the markets, the models, the agents, the infrastructure, and the people shipping all of it. One editorial byline. Edited by humans. Published when it’s ready, not before.

What we publish

Pieces that take us a week to write and twenty minutes to read. The point isn’t to be first; it’s to be right, and to be useful a year from now. Every piece reads primary sources before it ships — company filings, product docs, primary interviews, the actual code — and shows its work in a structured source list at the bottom of the page.

We have no editorial opinion on AI as a general matter. We have specific arguments about specific things, supported by specific evidence. If you find a thesis we’re hedging, that’s a bug. Write to us.

Editorial standards

Conflicts & funding

The Deep Feed is independent and self-funded. We accept no advertising, no sponsored content, no affiliate links. If a piece touches a company we’ve consulted for, invested in, or otherwise have a personal stake in, that conflict is disclosed inline at the top of the piece. If we’re paid by anyone for anything, you’ll see it on this page first.

Sources

We cite primary sources where they exist. When we summarize secondary coverage, we say so. The sources block at the bottom of each piece is the receipts; no piece ships without it. If a link rots, we replace it with an archive link rather than letting it 404.

AI use

We use AI tools — search, transcript summarization, code analysis, prose editing — as research and editing assistants. We do not publish AI-generated prose under our byline. Every sentence on this site has been written or rewritten by a human editor, and we’re accountable for it.

Corrections

We get things wrong. When we do, we correct the post in place and append a Corrections note at the bottom: what was wrong, what it’s been changed to, and when. We don’t silently edit. If you spot something that’s off, write to corrections@thedeepfeed.ai .

Letters

We read every letter we get. We don’t always respond, but we read them. If you disagree with a piece, write back: letters@thedeepfeed.ai . The best we publish, with permission, as follow-up notes.

Colophon

Set in Newsreader (display and body), Inter (UI), and JetBrains Mono (code). The codebase is small, the JavaScript is smaller, and the pages are fast on a phone in a tunnel.
